    We have few hours to wait in Dubai airport before we take the next fly to Sidney so we decided to take a tour of the shops... So huge we easily reached 10k steps walking around the terminal 😅

  • First night in Sydney

    Just arrived in our hotel after a 12h flight from Dubai... Now a toast to celebrate the beginning of our adventure and then we will try to sleep and recover energy for tomorrow activities 😄

    After the cruise, we did a waling tour of Sydney modern district guided by amazing James Zanesi. We visited the iconic buildings and enjoyed some popular places for drinks and food including a secret whisky bar.Read more

    We walked into the Kata-tjuta mountains. Completely different land and sensations compared to Uluru, more rocks and hard soil. The wind is always blowing and a little cold but still fascinating!

  • Mount Conner view

    Along the road to King's Canyon we find this nice spot with a view on the huge mount Conner. Ok the other side of the road, just climb the dune to get a nice view on the nearby small lakes. An unexpected panorama and a good occasion to take some rest after hours of driving.Read more

  • Kings Canyon Resort

    In the early afternoon after a almost 4h driving we arrived at the king's canyon resort, the only hotel structure in the area. A nice place isolated in the middle of the outback.   • Kings Canyon rim walk

    We reached Kings Canyon early in the morning to start the rim walk, which goes all around the canyon and allow to visit the garden of Eden, a beautiful water hole area inside the creek. The walk takes about 4h and it can be hard in summer due to hot weather, but it was really enjoyable for us in September. The rocky canyon landscape is amazing and the waterhole is fascinating. Unfortunately we did not see animals around but the place is supposed to host many different Australian ones.Read more

    From Kings Canyon we took the Merenee loop road. A long but amazing oitroad track across the outback. We finally arrived in Alice springs after 5h driving

    Another transfer flight early in the morning from Alice Springs to Adelaide from where we will continue our trip to Kangaroo Island. While we wait for our flight we enjoyed breakfast with an apple muffin. The airport is really small here, just the bar a small shop and 10 gates.Read more

  • Ferry to Kangaroo Island

    We landed in Adelaide, hired a car and drove to Cape Jarvis to take the ferry to Kangaroo Island. After successfully loading the car in our first ever test on a ferry we relaxed and enjoyed the view during the 45min transfer.Read more

    In the first day we decided to take this guided night tour. An amazing experience that will take you around the island to see many animals that are difficult to see during the day, like wallabies, penguins and also a koala hanging on his tree.Read more

  • Stokes bay

    As first stop in the morning, we headed to strokes bay a rocky bay that hides a secret passage to a beautiful beach. The water was crystal clear, but too cold for a swim in this season. The secret passage is not actually secret but it's still fascinating to go through this narrow path between the rocks and the beach itself is also amazing.Read more

  • Kangaroo island wildlife park

    We spent about 3h walking around the park which hosts several local species including wombats, quokkas, koalas and various species of kangaroo.
