Tirta empul holy water temple (pt.1)

We visited the purification water temple. The simple story of the this holy water temple is… There once was an evil king. When the people try to overthrow him he poison them. The gods are not happy with the situation so they created a watering hole that cures anything... sickness, emotional, and more. Those that survived chased the king out of the city.

The process is: you stand in front of each watering fountain to give thanks and ask for the healing you need. You place your hand together and put you thumbs on your forehead as you pray. You then wash your face or dunk yourself three times in front of each fountain. This is not done at any specific time but when an individual feels they need some guidance.Baca lagi
