This morning we took the canal boat to Slotsholmen which is the seat of Denmark's national government and an area where there are many historical buildings. Some of these buildings include the Supreme Court, the Royal reception rooms, the Parliament and the prime minister's office. There is also the original Denmark stock exchange located in this area.
Some of the buildings were extremely large and hard to photograph. However there were no cracks observed in the buildings.
The original library houses many thousands of Denmark's historical items as well as books. The original library is integrated into a new modern section which fronts the canal. There is also a beautiful garden at the side which we walked around.
