Where to start… we’re finally in a country where old men smile while cycling along the street, fruit vendors sell sweet cherries and children playing outside in a warm summer night.

We spent some days in Shkodër, northern Albania close to the Skadar lake. While staying here we rented bikes and rode around Skadar city and lake. We ate fresh fish and enjoyed the chill vibe.

We even visited a memorial museum - which is honoring the dark time in Albania during the brutal communism regime which ended in 1991.

Now we unpack our backpacks for the next adventure. And yes - we learnt how fucking expensive it is to send a package back home… so we donated most of our stuff.Leer más
