the hashish road

Since hitchhiking went so well we decided to travel on. Little did we know what kind of a route we had planned to take. A greek albanian guy picked us up and he drove us all the way. On the way, he stopped at a nice fish restaurant where he ordered masses of food which he payed. The road we planned to take got worse and worse - as did the mood of our driver. After a 3 hour bumpy road we arrived at our destination. The village was - not what we expected. Our driver decided to take a nap at a hotel. Although he was angry he managed to book a room for all of us. So we ended up awkwardly lying in a triply room. We tried to give him money at least for the gas - he refused… so humbled by this generosity.Read more
