This day we saw the saddest part of the loop. The burning jungle. Every farmer or family who owns a tiny piece of land burns it down to grow Cassavas. We drove through burning forests for hours… FUCK CHINA. We don’t blame the families they just try to make a living… The problem is that Cassava is maybe good for 4-5 crops afterwards the soil is completely destroyed. The Laos government is to weak to take action against it - so China is basically using Laos incredibly Nature to grow animal food and gasoline….

After this sad ride we found a hidden paradise where we stayed for 3 nights. We met Muu and Daan two individuals who like to read philosophy, roast their own coffee and enjoy life to the fullest. Sabay Sabay.もっと詳しく
