A bridge too far!!

Large breakfast and ready to get the bus to Dinard , supposed to cut down our step count but caught wrong bus and thought we’d walk anyway….first bridge and start of a lovely light cloud day, appreciating my rucksack and all its pockets ; cosy toes all wrapped in tape & two pairs of socks ; no leaves on trees yet with views through the branches ; the clear GR34 signs leading the way. 2 hrs in, the walk flanks the upmarket Dinard ….our plan was to have lunch en route but it’s France and after many beaches walked across a boulangerie , OPEN , and the most delicious quiche! 2 hrs later and another bridge crossed we walked to our destination for the night, a cute apartment , clutching our pad thai takeout , bag of bread and cheese & les ouefs . 8 hr walk today should’ve been 3 !!!!
