TravelerI just read about the terrible storms expected in your area tomorrow. Good thing you haven't started walking yet.
TravelerHalf a day we are in the bus, cross fingers for the rest of the day. Rain is one thing, sticky mud is another. But i expect the mud is not there so much in the first part of the track along the coast?? But i might be wrong… Today i read why the Spanish weather is so off , above average downfall. And that is not promising. Either way we will have to cope until we don’t..
Ewww, mud! Hope the rain is holding off and that walking is possible. Sending love from D&C 💕 more snow in Toronto today [Doreen]
TravelerI was just trying to work that out in my head also. The first tracks are a combination of gravel and packed sand, so I think you are correct - they shouldn't be muddy. There is one part just before the village of San Miguel where you have to walk in the sand for about 15 minutes, so that might be tricky in a downpour.
TravelerI was born close to the coast, walking on sand seemed impossible to me. Then we have been on the Fishermen’s trail, showing that it is possible indeed. You let yourself fall forward and make the next step. Nothing more nothing less. We (have to) take it as it comes. But thanks for the information!
TravelerYes D&C, you got a lot of those fluffies. As soon as those stop to fall in Canada, the weather in Spain will improve !
