Travel Day: MN - ND

We had another long driving day today, but it ended up not being too bad. We left Grand Rapids, MN, around 6am. We finally crossed the MS River, which it is the size of the Bayou Teche up here. Highway 2 across has been a dream. Barely any trucker traffic and really barely any traffic at all.

It was 40 degrees when we left and cold. Chico had his sweater on, and I had to cover him with a blanket while we drove. He wanted to sit with me, but he makes my legs hurt, so I had to put him on his pad.

We pulled into Burlington, ND around 1:30pm and got a little campsite in The Old Settler's Park, which is just a little county park. 30 a night w/electric and water near the site. Thers not a soul here. I'm not sure if it will stay empty, but it might.

We are thinking about unhooking the jeep and going to ride around Minot. Maybe. The weather is so nice right now, so I might just want to stay here, lol.

Tomorrow, we'll be in MN but not in Glacier. We're staying at another harvest host in Harve, MT. Just some roadside tavern/restaurant.

Oh, and the wind didn't start blowing until about an hour from the campground but it is howling right now. Hopefully it settles down for tomorrowLæs mere
