We slept in this morning and had leisurely coffee. I made steak, eggs, and hashbrowns for breakfast and we did much of nothing this morning.

We were going to take out our paddleboard out on the lake but the trek to the lake was too much to carry the boards, plus it was cold this morning.

After lunch and doing laundry, we decided to do a 3 mile hike near the campground. For such a simple hike, it was stunning. Lake. St. Mary and the mountains in the background were something else. The wildflowers are in bloom. The water is like glass. We may go back to this lake and have a picnic before we leave. The lake bed is lined with the colored rocks Glacier is famous for.

After the hike, we came back to the rv and got our backpacks ready for tomorrow. We are attempting Iceberg Lake, which is a 10 mile round trip and 1500 elevation gain and loss. We're hopeful for sun. It rained on us today while hiking.

Smash burgers for dinner, and we watched our neighbors change tires on his driving camper. That was a show.

The Blackfeet Tribe is supposed to put on a fireworks show tonight, but I'm too tired. I'm already in bed and it's 8pm.
