From Ban Rak Thai to hidden Ban Ja Bo

We visited Ban Rak Thai, a charming Chinese-style village with a scenic lake at its center. Though picturesque, it felt too touristy, so we decided to keep moving. Leaving the main road led us to Ban Ja Bo, a tiny mountain village far from the tourist trail.

The evening in Ban Ja Bo was just as magical. Locals gathered in their half-open wooden homes, talking, laughing loudly, and enjoying each other’s company. We also made friends with a sweet little girl from the village, adding a warm, personal touch to our stay.Læs mere
