Against all odds we made it to Czech Republic in 6ish hours!
Night no.-1: Prague

After 12 hours of driving (Google Maps argues that Kosice - Prague takes only 7-8 hours) we finally arrived in Prague. After our last night in comfy beds for a while we will focus on some minorLue lisää
First repairs

First repairs successful…hopefully. We had cylinders misfiring so we had to change the spark coil and cables. Oh and also our reserve can of oil leaked in the trunk so we had som cleaning time asLue lisää
Finally here!

Made it to the pre-start get-together and it’s safe to say that Prague - Dresden was without major problems so we will be leaving tomorrow feeling positive.

After getting lost in Bohemian Paradise a couple of times we finally stood on the top of Prachovske Skaly and finishes the road mission…now the only task left is to get to Olomouc. Will we make itLue lisää
Good (?) morning

After driving until 1am we (and mostly the care) just couldn’t anymore and just crashed by a field. Hopefully today we can make it to Budapest.

After fixing our car in Olomouc until 1pm we headed to Slovakia and sort of completed the task of the day. You see we arrived as one of the last cars to Vlkolinec so we had noone to pick up…we atLue lisää

For today’s wonderful performance our piece of shit car deserved another golden wheel.
Road mission 🇹🇩 completed!

Unbelieveable. Our car made a 1100m offroad climb to reach the peak of Cucurbata Mare.
Transylvanian task of the day!

It turns out finding a Romanian guy looking like Dracula is more difficult than it looks..but we managed.
Transfagarasan

Surprisingly we were able to climb to 2,042 meters above sea level to the top of Transfagarasan to complete our road mission for today.

Before boarding on a ferry across Danube we managed to get a signature of Romanian border police officer on our car.

After seeing Sofia we climbed behind the city to see the huge stone river.
Skopje road mission

We climbed up the the millenium cross above Skopje and enjoyed the view after we had walked the city’s old town and enjoyed some chess games while drinking Turkish tea and eating baklava.
Finally the sea!

After surviving the chaos of Tirana and Albanian roads we made it to Montenegro and treated ourselves to a swim in Sveti Stefan. Also we had to fix our car for the first time in 3 days.
