Leaving Puente la Reina

Had a good night in the Albergue and got some relatively decent sleep.

Started the day with a cuppa and a couple of pieces of dry bread in the kitchen there and then met Nick and Tom at a little cafe and we set out.

This bridge- another of the amazing series of medieval bridges we’ve crossed - was the subject of a ‘would you rather be on the gorgeous old bridge looking at the new bridge or vice versa?’ conversation. The answer was very much on the new bridge, so we went back over and took this pic.Leggi altro
