Arriving in Santo Domingo de la Calzada

The albergue in this town has been serving pilgrims for 100s of years and it was very well organised and awesome.

There were chickens and a cockerel in the sunny garden in homage to a story about a miracle that happened in the town.

There were also cold water foot baths and it was bliss to sit with my feet in one for about 10 mins before going out and joining Nick, Tom, Brittany and Julia for a lovely dinner in the town square.Meer informatie
