Stage 15 - along the way

After a steep hill climb which gave us a great view of the surrounding countryside, the rest of the going was very flat and mostly through fields. We are very much on the Meseta now!

We mostly walked with our music, and I also had a few hours just silently thinking and listening to birdsong and the sound of the wind in the crops. It was bliss.

Came across an albergue cafe in Itero de la Vega where they had a barbecue going, headed up by a happy Ukrainian who danced whilst he cooked, and we had sausages and baked potatoes - so gorgeous.Читать далее
