Stage 16 - along the way

We took a diversion to the main Camino that took us along a river instead of by the road, which made it much nicer.

The going was tough today though. The Meseta is long and unforgiving and it was pretty hot for much of the day (though not unbearably so).

A long stretch till we got to a lunch spot at around 2:45 and had some refreshments before heading off again - this time along the road for 6km which felt like 600!Read more
