Arriving in Santiago de Compostela!

Around the corner from the cathedral was the place we had to pick up our compostela - the certificate of completion - and there were people cheering us in on the way (they were doing it to all the pilgrims but it felt very special!)

We were pretty much exhausted after all that so we found our accommodation (we’re staying here for two nights), ate dinner close by and then came back and watched the film ‘The Way’ together (which is all about the Camino) and enjoyed spotting all the places we’d been.Read more
