Cloudy day. The Tablelands are really, really, really flat. You can see who comes for a visit a week before they arrive 😅
Later the scenery changed. Bush and trees.
We saw a lot of cows and Kangaroos on the road. 🐮 Haven't seen any camel's today 🐫
No accident but plenty of corpses and smell of rotten meat all along the road showing the fact that roadkill is very common. The plenty termite hills have a darker red colour and are higher up here 🐜

At the end of the day it started to rain 😨
When we arrived at Borroroola Savannah Motel it was pouring down. Trish (the owner) brought us the bad news that the Savannay Way is not drivable. The weather forecast shows the next days heavy rain. The Savannah Way will be 550 km of mud and impossible to drive with our heavy bikes.
What a shame!!!! I'm very disappointed 😔
However, we will not risk broken bones and go for a 1500km detour. Aussie!!!
