Hilter had installed a monument on the side of the loggia to commemorate the lost lives of a few of his party members, Hilter insisted that passers-by salute the monument, to avoid passing by people would head down Viscardigasse behind Feldherrnhalle to dodge having to salute.
The curved line of golden cobblestones symbolises the path taken by the 'dodgers'.
