Moiyabana to Serowe

Broke camp just before 6, to depart the school where I camped before the kids arrived. Mornings start chilly this far north. With about 60km to the next stop, head down. Some punchy rises meant the kms didn't quite fly buy as they had previously. But eventually I got there. Serowe is what I'd call a regional caiptal, much larger than the surrounding settlements. It took a bit to find the closest restaurant. Turns out I'd missed the pretty obvious window coverings on the first hunt. A great plate of food for NZ$4. Bloody tasty. I went back the following day. A hunt through the booking sites and I landed at Lenste lodge, one of the cheaper spots. I booked 3 nights, to ensure I was in a place that also screened the ABs game from Ellis Park.Read more
