Fraser Island ♥️

A 5:30 pickup is definitely not my most preferred - yet, in Oz everything and everyone starts early. And we are headed to beautiful Fraser Island. And what’s best, most of the drive there, we do right along 40 mile beach enjoying the waves and a beautiful sunrise. 🌅 And guess how long 40 mile beach is… right, 65km ;)
And to add to the adventure: our truck got stuck on the beach and had to be pulled out 😅😅😅
When heading over to Fraser island, we drive along 75 mile beach… and yeah it’s 120km ;) heading into the rainforest seeing amazingly high trees just growing in the sand and then to swim in wonderful Lake McKenzie. Great day ♥️Read more
