    Wine and bike in Nelson

    January 30, 2016 in New Zealand ⋅ ⛅ 31 °C

32km bike ride with couple stops at wineries. Maaaaaaan those hills were steep to go up. We can barely walk the stairs. So is it a great idea to wine and bike?
    Pros:
You bike and it's already awesome
    You can drink and bike
You can make your own itinerary
You exercise so you kind of deserve that wine you get after
You exercise! And you bike with purpose, a really good one
    Cons:
It's hard, reaaaaly hard sometimes especially after several gulps
WINERIES can be far from each other so you might bike a lot before the next one. So you might not try too many wineries. Which might be a good thing
Is it actually good to exercise when you are tipsy? Sometimes when you bike those hills up you wish you didn't do it, but then you arrive and after the first sip you forget, and it's all over again

So, in summary, I think it's better to bike and wine than only wine ( right?) Kill two birds with one stone plus it's been proven that wine is good for you

    P. S. Also Nelson and motueka are really nice places to retire. Its a heaven for food and scenery. We tried all the berries here - and we've never had anything better
