We parked the car in the Crown parking garage and then walked to the hotel to leave our backpacks in the room. In the meantime it started to rain more and more. Anneke and I were assigned room 105 after registration. Afterwards we went for something to eat and drink at Dene & Gör (21€). Many Turkish businesses in this area. After we went back to the car with Paul, we said goodbye to him there and Anneke and I went back to looking for our hotel. In the meantime the rain was pouring down and we couldn't find the hotel. A nice man told us that it was best to get on tram line 709 or 708, not to take 706, he told us, and after 1 stop we had to get off again. We had to wait about 10 minutes for the tram. Tram line 709 stopped directly in front of the door. The Intercity Hotel is located opposite the hotel. Anneke had brought some tasty snacks (chips and chocolate milk) for me and we were able to dry up in our room. Got a cup of coffee and laid down on the bed and finally fell asleep.
