Back in Da Nang again and what a pleasant surprise. In this hotel we had a room with anything you would like to have to feel at home. A microwave oven, a washing machine, free bicycles, a stove, a coffee machine. A nice welcome card from Vivian and a welcome drink. It really melt our hearts! Such a nice room and warm welcome. First I had to remove some mothballs from the room because I just don't like the smell of it, but then we could enjoy our room which was very clean and tidy and we also had a small balcony where we sat down to drink our cocktail.Read more

There is also a sauna, billiard table and an indoor swimming pool in this hotel and ofcourse the free bikes. After putting our clothes in the cupboards we went downstairs to take a ride to the beach on our bikes.Read more

At the beach we decided to eat something. Anneke ordered something white from the menu card ('sausage or cheese) and got something brown. It didn't taste like anything at all and luckily there was a dog near and he liked it. We visited the beach and noticed it began to become dark already.Read more

We cycled back to the hotel, we got changed and went to the swimming pool and sauna in the hotel. Then we tried to play billiard and in the evening, yes, again we went outside to find a restaurant. First we asked for information at various restaurants about what was on the menu. One of the restaurant served rat. It really was on the menu card.Read more

Finally we chose for a restaurant where we appeared to be the only guests, called Mabela. Nice and friendly people, they did everything they could to give us the utmost service. We tried to eat with chopsticks, there was nice music played at the background and they placed a big fan close to us. In short, everything was top!Read more

[day 10]

Yesterday we arranged at the reception of the hotel a transfer for the next day (costs 800,000 VND=32€) to go to Sunworld Ba Na Hills. It was a return transfer. Because we would fly late in the evening to Nha Trang today we could have the whole day to enjoy ourselves at that entertainment park. First we had breakfast and then the taxi came right on the arranged time. Another wish would become real for us today. On our way to Sunworld we also saw the famous 'dragon bridge' in Da Nang.Read more

Arriving at Sunworld it immediately became very crowded and we had to line up at the entrance and the ticket counter. After buying the tickets and entering the place we saw nice statues, flowers, gardens, water fountains, ponds with koi carps in it, a castle entrance with cannons at both sides, everything in oriental style. Yeah, we reached the top. We stepped into the 'french village'. My dream came true. A nice fountain in the middle of the square and flowers everywhere you look. Buildings like in the Middle Ages. Very beautiful. I want to stay here!Read more

At the front of the church they were taking pictures of a bride. We peeped into the church itself and then went on to all the other things there was to see up here. We got so much impressions that we nearly fainted! What an activity here! Music and people giving a dance show on the square, fountains, a lot of places to eat and buy souvenirs or something else, we really didn't know where to start, so we just walked along and let it come all over us. We absorbed the vipes.Read more

We took a lot of pictures and videos here. Then we saw the entrance of the wax museum. In Ha Long we unfortunately skipped it, but now we simple had to visit it. We had to pay a small entrance fee (100,000 VND (0,40€) per person) and then we entered the world of the stars and the famous.Read more

We reached the 'golden bridge'. Anneke was satisfied. Her dream too came true. But we were not the only ones who wanted to visit and take pictures of the bridge. It was rather crowded on the bridge and not so easy not to bump to another person. But it was worth while. We enjoyed it at full! From the bridge we could see in the distance a big white buddha statue also.Read more

I don't know if it was because of the wine we drank or the nice food at the restaurant, but going down the stairs of the restaurant we heard nice music again and it made me and my sister make a little dance at the top of the stairs. A small music group below were making live music. A man with an accordeon played very good. The people all wanted to get on photo with him. We also took a video of it all. What a superbe day we enjoyed here! But we had to move onwards which meant downwards in our case. We took the cable car back to the entrance/exit of the park. We needed also to recharge our handy's because we took so many photos and videos. While recharching our handy's we could at the same time relax in the relaxing seats down below.Read more

A few last pictures and then we left the park. At 14:00 we had to meet our taxi driver again at the parking lot. And he was on time, but it was not the taxi driver who brought us here, he did send his brother. However, we went back to the hotel to pick up our suitcases. We had also planned to go to Hue but at the hotel they told us that it took some time to get there and by then it would become dark. So we changed our plans and prepared to go to the airport for our last domestic flight.Read more
