Today we drove the rest of the way to Zagreb! First was through Austria which was gorgeous! I always forgot exactly how much I love the mountains until I see them again…it was mostly tunnels through them and there was still so much snow even down low! Then through Slovenia which was super quick - I was surprised when we got to the border of Croatia! Then on to Zagreb which seems like a nice, small city. We wandered around a bit through the pedestrian area, got some dinner out (which was delicious! Red Curry & a falafel bowl that had a tomato onion salad hidden underneath which was amazing! But the place is closing tomorrow as the building is undergoing renovations as it was damaged in an earthquake!) found some treats (chimney snack with pistachio which was good, but the pistachios had no flavor! And some raspberry croissants. There is raspberry everything here so I am hoping I will find some raspberry soda like in Czech Republic!). So far the trip is pretty nice! Tomorrow is exploring in the hills and viewpoints then explore the city more on Monday! Oh and the last photo is the view of the courtyard from our place - this strange fun roof! Luckily we are in the courtyard side as it is so quiet - the street would be much louder!Läs mer
