Zagreb Day 2.1

Today we went up to the highest point in Zagreb - Sljeme mountain! We took the cable cars up which were super nice - well ventilated which was nice as we had a breeze. It was a long ride too - just over 16 min to the top! We saw lots of people hiking up which looked crazy as it was so steep! Once at the top we spied on the tv tower and then headed towards Medvedgrad Castle which for the most part was nice wooded forest trails with great views of the mountains in the north and the city to the south. It did get pretty warm in the sun by lunchtime, but luckily the trail kept going in and out of the forest so we could cool off - though if we had a pool here that is the first thing I would have done when we got back - jump in!
