On the way to camp

After our hike it was time to head off and find a place to camp for the night. We stopped at a bunch of viewpoints and things that we had passed on the way up to the glacier hike and it was still so gorgeous, even though the clouds were coming in. We stopped at a rapids area off the river and it was so so loud! We couldn’t talk to each other as even yelling you couldn’t hear over the water! So much water!

Then around to the next fjord to stay the night. We stopped at more viewpoints, one of which had lots of fun fungus! We ended up driving to the end of the road to spy and then ended up camping at a campground with gorgeous views! Everywhere else said no camping so here we are! The last 4 photos are from camp - Raymond standing on the little area we could set our chairs up on over the water, then the views both ways from the camper - the mountains are gorgeous!! The last one is behind us - spooky clouds! We got here and 4 and a little while after that it started raining pretty good! It has been raining off and on all evening and I have been loving watching the clouds roll in and cover the mountains the clear up again. And lots of spooky low clouds too! It is so much fun! Though tomorrow it is supposed to rain all day nonstop so we shall see what we end up doing. We may just go to the next stop and park somewhere and have a lazy day. We shall see what the weather ends up being! But today was another gorgeous day driving and hiking to see all the mountains and all the water! I am loving this trip!!Read more
