Bad Harzburg

We decided to start the year off with a trip to Harz for some hiking! We have been to Bad Harzburg before and enjoyed the hikes in the area and there is a small winter market so I thought why not base our trip here. It is not the prettiest city in the area, but we are staying right on the pedestrian walkway by the small waterway! That is really nice.

We walked down to the small market…and it was tiny! 4 stands! Smaller than I expected, but we had a nice walk and enjoyed the Christmas lights that were still up. Tomorrow off to go hiking around!Read more
