Oderteich Hike

Today was so much fun!! We woke up to a hint of snow from last night, but it was supposed to snow today so I was hopeful. We had breakfast and slowly got ready to go for a hike and we started driving up into the mountains more and all of a sudden snow! The roads were wet, but not snowy and it was snowing! I was so excited!! Snow is my favorite!!

When we got to the parking lot for our hike it was pretty empty. I didn’t think there would be that many people on a Friday morning, but by the time we were done the parking lot was full and we passed so many people on the trail! Lots of people with sleds and such which was fun. We did a loop around this lake and it was snowing the whole time! I loved it!!

Someone must have had a tiny snowman mold see we kept seeing them all over!

In Harz there are these boxes with stamps in all over the place. You can get a booklet to collect them all which I did the last time we were down here. I had two stamps from then (out of 222!) and I got another one on this trail! I like the idea as it gives you nice trails to hike! So much fun!! And so many more places we need to visit did here!Leer más
