Trška Gora

Our next stop was Trška Gora for a hike amongst the vineyards on the hills. I had a ton of short stops planned for today, but we had wanted to get back to Ljubljana for dinner so I didn’t think we would have time for them all. I was a bit picky and only stopped the places I really wanted to see. This was a long stop, and if I would have cut it probably could have done everything else, but it was so nice! There was an 8km trail through farms and vineyards and we really enjoyed it. It was hot hiking up the hills and I got so sweaty and gross just like the other day (my glasses kept fogging up again cause I was so hot!), but the views were great. It was also lucky that most of the walk uphill was in the shady forest as the sun was so so hot! It was mostly uphill to the church with a linden tree that was said to have been planted in. 1622! And it was odd as the trunk was like all hollow, but still growing! Overall it was a really nice hike and I was glad I kept it in the plan! (The second to last photo is find the lizard!
