Frankfurt Day 2.4

Finally it was off to our last stops on the way home. A walk down Zeil (a pedestrian shopping street with a fun mall) then on to the stock exchange building (it is being worked on so couldn’t actually see the building only the statues outside).

Then one last stop - a patisserie with some vegan treats! A pumpkin chocolate tart and a passion fruit raspberry tart. We tried the pumpkin one and it had cranberry on it too so it was like a little bit of thanksgiving for us :) on the way there we walked through a park with a faucet down low and a sign that said “only Sonoran toads” which I have no idea what that means! I tried to do a quick search on the internet to see if it was some thing here, or some German phrase that I don’t know, but nothing. But a cute sign!

Then we got Ethiopian food for dinner (a plate of all their vegan options) which was good, but not the best we have had.

All in all today was a great day! I never really had Frankfurt on my to go to list as I didn’t think there was much here if you are not working, but I really enjoyed today! Really I was thinking I wish we had another day as there are lots of parks and other things to see a bit farther out (but still pretty close to where we are staying) that we didn’t have time for. It is actually a really nice city, though it does feel richer than other cities which makes sense. Like the people are and all the expensive stores and restaurants (there is one shopping road that is all high end places like gucci and stuff). Really enjoyed today and will definitely have to come back and explore more!Read more
