Mildura to Narrandera

As we left Adelaide and headed for Mildura, we decided to make a concerted effort to get home quicker so that we could have a couple of days extra rest at home and settle back in to stationary life.

So there’s not a lot of pics to post from here on in but we did manage a nice dinner out in Mildura at a Chinese restaurant that had a pond and bridge in it (weird).

Following day we left for Narrandera via the Hay plains and cotton country (so much cotton on the side of the road). Hay was a nice, quiet little town where we stopped for lunch (bakery salad rolls are just the best) and checked out the post office where Corinne’s dad began his posty career.

We had a fantastic spot in the caravan park at Narrandera, which was closest to the nearby creek, and we could see an amazing waterslide park nearby so that might have to be a visit spot in the summer months.

Unfortunately the weather wasn’t great but we enjoyed a nice dinner out at the local rsl.Meer informatie
