Fuji Part 2

• Next was Oishi Park one of the five main lakes around the mountain.

• Oshino Hakkai was our third stop. The name Oshino Hakkai comes from the eight clear springs formed by the pure snow water of Mount Fuji being carefully filtered through the strata. This place is highly praised for its tranquil and beautiful natural environment. The pool water sparkles under the sunlight, like pieces of gems inlaid on the ground. We had a quick lunch of double wide udon noodles and shrimp rice bowls. We also purchased the most lovely of kitschy ceramic kitty from the locals.
