    Day 29, Making Friends, Colchagua

    March 8, 2023 in Chile ⋅ 🌙 72 °F

We went to a winery this morning, Lapostolle (owned by the family who also own the French cognac Grand Marnier). Very fancy. I was expecting it to be kind of boring (I’ve been to a lot of wineries😎😎😎) but it was actually a lot of fun. The architecture was very interesting and our tour group turned out to be super lively - one couple who used to live in Cincinnati (worked for Jergens) and two Cuban women who have never been back to Cuba and were very interested in hearing about our visits there. Plus two honeymooners. ❤️ We were all great friends by the end of the tour. Another beautiful lunch in a vineyard. 🍷 Our host for these past three days, Mauricio, has provided a beautiful experience for us - his gorgeous home, amazing food, the fun places he has arranged for us to visit, and lots of stimulating and memorable conversations. Mauricio has lots of energy, dreams, and wisdom.Read more
