Day 28, Colchagua Valley

We took a bike ride through a vineyard this morning. Nicholas, our guide, shared a lot of information about the winery. But since my comfort level on a bike is as wide as a bike path, I was only concentrating on avoiding the rocks on the trail. Fortunately, we made it through unscathed. 😎 Nicholas offered another compelling story. Having worked in a vineyard since he was 14 (another impressive self-taught English speaker), he has vast knowledge of winemaking and oenology. But he is also close to completing nursing school. Although he is sorry to leave the Chilean vineyards, Nicholas and his wife are planning to move Canada upon his graduation. Through his wine tourism, he has made key healthcare contacts in Toronto.
