Day 49, New Experiences in Tokyo

Today was kind of a rest day, between the busyness of touring Japan and what is planned for Korea. Our big outing was for me to get a haircut. Mie had booked me an appointment in an English-speaking salon. We walked from Shibayu (where we are staying - very young and hip) to Minato (very upscale), about an hour. I felt pretty relaxed but wasn’t sure what to expect. Everyone at the salon was super nice and my stylist not only spoke English but had worked for 20 years in NYC.
