Lej Languard

What a beautiful day. We decided to hike to Lej Languard. We took the chairlift from Pontresina and hiked in 1 hr. 15 min. to lake Languard. It went steadily up. The scenery was fabulous and being Swiss I might be biased, but hiking is so much nicer here compared to last week in St. Anton Austria. Lake Languard has a temperature of about 5 C. Quite a few people were brave and dipped in and out again. Dieter actually stayed in a bit longer and even swam a bit. We decided against hiking over to the Alp Languard and went back to the top of the chairlift. In the restaurant there we had lunch and then hiked down to Pontresina in something over 1 hr. It was pretty steep. According to our son Michael this was his favourite hike since our holiday started.Read more
