Leaving Mazeri village and heading to Mestia through Guli pass (2900m). Sleeping in the tent after the pass, rainy night. Facing the storm on the open mountain. Sometimes you waiting is the only thing you can do. Hearing the thunder in mountains feels like the sky is falling, but it's lightening you should be afraid of.
How far is the storm? After you see the lighting count seconds till you hear the thunder. 1s = 340m. So if you hear thunder 3s after lightening then the storm is ~ 1km away.Weiterlesen
