    300h YTT in Rishikesh

    February 2 in India ⋅ ☀️ 8 °C

My 300h in Yoga Therapy in Rishikesh were... Well, definetly not what they promoted. Heads up to the good marketing though. From the first moment it fet sightly overwhelming, lots of people, dirty and not taken care of, cold and mostly with a different program to the one I was sold. Lots of frustration and anger accompanied me through the journey, because it was indeed disappointing in many aspects. Still, enjoyed the daily military hatha with Pradeep, the dynamic anathomy classes of AnantJi, the long cozy debates in our small philosophy classed with Kalpendra, explorer my body with the advanced secondary deries of asthanga, suffered the hands on adjustments of Ashu, and mostly enjoyed the people I had around me, the acrojams after lunch with Ange-Elise, Denis and Justin, chai with Oskar and the eternal talks after every meal with Cristina and Hector. While all this was happening, I got to pet a lot of cows, tried to quit coffee (and unsuccessfully chocolate), got a visit from Niklas whom I had met in Mysore previously, went to a meditation cave and to a beautiful viewpoint and chilled near the ganga exploring its energy.

🍴Food: chocolate from the laundry, deserts from GangaView Cafe, potato street food thing, Momo's and Thakpa from momo's place (laxam jula area), Little Buddha, Freedom Cafe, Namaste Cafe, chai in front of the police

Hugged my mother in the airport and got in the plane with my heart as full of love as it could fit in. Sant Andreu de Llavaneres 2.0

    January 18 in Spain ⋅ 🌙 18 °C

The next few days in Barcelona were a bunch of reunions with all the people I missed the most and whom I was excited to hear about their life changes and developing process. I met my friend Robles, Encarna (my nana as a kid), Esther (my childhood bestfriiend's mum and english teacher), Silvia (my friend from cau), Gala, Ger, Anna again, Vero, my kids from Cau (Sara, Berta and Eloi, who were not kids anymore), I bumped into some of my students like Marc, Carla and Marta which was beautiful and some other people that made me so happy to see. But mostly, I tried to spend as much quality time with Helena, Nerea, my parents, my siblings and sisters in law, my beloved nieces and nephews . I also tried to fix all the mistakes from last time, doing lots of bureaucracy tasks (and spending a lot of money in consequence). Helena and Nerea made a big effort to show me their new life and their new people from after I left, which for me, was the most special way of sharing, and I got a tattoo with Andrea of a canoe (or a calaboti). I went for a few days to Olot and rebuilt my bond with my little Libu and Nima and went to the cars with my not so little anymore Biel and Arlet and played lots and lots of board games. Tried some cool yoga and mobility classes some on my own and some with Nerea (such as Acrobatics flows, handstands, acroyoga, hammock acrobatics, jivamukti yoga and rocket yoga). Mario came for a visit for a couple of days and we went to what used to be the best cocktail bar in the world (the actual one was too expensive to attend), visited Girona and laughed (mostly me) in a Bruno Oro monologue. Went to the cosmocaixa with Helena and hiked the roca foradada with my bbclan, did a bit of yoga with mum, went to see acrobatics (mano a mano) with my family, won a rum bottle on a musical bingo by chance and ate lots of the food I used to love here with the people I still love. And sososo many other magical moments along the way.Read more

    Merry Christmas from... Home!

    December 24, 2023 in Spain ⋅ ☀️ 15 °C

The count back to this day felt slow, mellow and confusing, but it was definetly worth it. I used to think it was going to be the most challenging part of the trip, and the anticipation was killing me, no one knew and no one expected the slightest thing. After telling everyone I was going back to my beloved flight, I took a 6 day journey (Yes, 6 days, that's what happens when you keep losing flights), through India, Malaysia, Singapour, Qatar and eventually Spain to reach my family and my home. Just landing at the airport, I was spotted by the man repeating to everyone "European Passport this way, please", that looked at me and said "Tu ets d'aquí de casa, eh?" , and reality got inside of my body in a weird mix of feelings. Anna, my friend from university was my only complice, picked me up from the airport and took me to her home in Masnou for my first night back here. She treated me with so much kindness and generosity that it felt so good to be back, in a way like I was never gone, in another like this was a parallel life of mine. Weird. After my first night back, woke up, did some yoga, had some breakfast, went to her cafe to read a little bit (and dealt with a bit of inner drama to realise that my brother Albert wasn't comming to our yearly christmas dinner). Went back to her place, chatted more , had a beautiful walk along Masnou (forgot how beautiful sunsets were always here), and Anna drove me to my parents'place for my bigbig surprise. It was one of the most pure and beautiful moments I've ever experienced in my life,, the joy and emotion of my parents was indescribable, we all cried and hugged after me telling them that their christmas gift once again was in the post box. After that,y other brother Jordi with the rest of the family arrived so I could surprise them again. The dinner was fantastic (and overwhelming to be the center of attention after so much tiredness), next day we woke up, they opened their gifts and we went to the big family lunch (also overwhelming but so nice to experience it once again), at night drove to see Helena and Iris for our little christmas dinner (yes, another surprise). Next day the last surprise I had prepared was for Nere, her friend Nico helped me set it up, so she had to guess who I was with her eyes blindfolded (and yes, she failed), we spent the day together and had dinner at her friend's place. It was such a joy to be back and to feel so surrounded of love.Read more

    Brief visit to Kuala Lumpur

    December 21, 2023 in Malaysia ⋅ ☁️ 29 °C

Through the longest journey back home I came back and forth and stopped for a couple of days in Kuala Lumpur. Probably I was lying to myself and did not save any money by taking almost a whole week to travel home, but maybe my mind did need the baby steps to process this bigbig adventure that I was immersing myself in (yes, returning sounds like one of the biggest challenges of my trip, even only being for a short period of time). In the meantime I got to do a bit of exploring of this modern big city, ate some interesting food (not too vegetarian for my disappointment), walked around, visited some markets, read, relaxed and recovered in the pool and enjoyed a bit of quiet time for myself. After that, took an impossible journey to Singapour, where my bus arrived 3.30h delayed and with do much confusion (I can not even begin to understand how I managed to get on the right bus) and got dropped in the middle of the night in Singapour. After tiredness in my eyes and roaming around this interesting airport, I stepped on my last part of the journey for a little surprise for my loved ones.

🏠Accommodation: Capsule Hotel Bukit Bintang (incredibly clean and new, great location, swimming pool, breakfast, lots of nice add ons like towels, toothbrush, even shoes... Soso fancy and even more after Indian standards haha only con is that the charge for leaving the bags after checkout is pretty abusive)
📍Essentials: walk around Pasar Seni, eat at night in Jalan Perak Street, relax in the Botanical Gardens

    Kochi for a day

    December 20, 2023 in India ⋅ ☀️ 33 °C

Decided to fly from Kochi, because it was cheaper and because for me it felt necessary to come back to close the cycle, to say goodbye when I felt ready. After a long bus journey of 12 hours I reached Ernakulam. Went to get one last reflexology with Sree and had lunch with Bree and Lolly. After that, got the last details I needed to buy, spent a nice chill afternoon with Bree and Ezra, said goodbye to the staff, had a quick drink with Poppy and some girls, and headed to the airport. Quick but efficient, and certainly no more no less than I needed. Ready to close a chapter to start a need one, but leaving a home behind ♥️Read more
