We had a lovely strolling day around Genbaku Domu - in English, the A Bomb Dome - and then taking a leisurely river cruise to see the main sights in the area near the Dome. No one would ever make bombs if they could see what happened here on August 6, 1945. Hiroshima today is a beautiful, green city, as well as a powerful reminder of the need for peace to prevail.Read more
