Kobeya Lunch

Here we are, still in Tokyo. We all decided that we could make very good use of our extra time by having lunch at one of our favorite restaurants, Kobeya. We had dinner at one in Nishinomiya way back at the beginning of this trip, and we went to this one in Setagaya with Akiko in 2023. We weren't going to go this time, until this free time appeared.

As usual, it was a very good meal, but something funny happened. When we arrived, Akiko noticed one of the servers and remembered that he had served us in 2023. She scrolled back through the photos in her phone and found a photo she had taken of him with me on October 16, 2023. She showed it to him and told him we were back in Japan for another visit. He had a good laugh, we went on with our lunch, and forgot about that, until at the end of our meal, he suddenly appeared with 3 little cups of ice cream to thank us for coming back!
