On the trail

Our trail angel, Lari, got us to the trailhead around 9am & Hilary & I were underway. Blue skies & a solid 21km first day from Kalamunda through to Ball Creek campsite. Very different bush to home - we were quite taken with the black trunked, grass trees called Balga (or 'blackboys' as the Aussies subtly refer to them). The campsites have a 3 sided shelter with platform bunks (byo mattress), water tank, camping spots & a fire pit - everything you need. Good to finally be on the trailLeia mais
