Tekapo Regional Park

Down the opposite side of Cowan's Hill is Tekapo Regional Park. A huge forested area with lots of tracks and trails to follow, I've also never seen so many pinecones in my life! I decided to stick to the longest perimeter loop (6.9km) although this met the Lagoon Trail (see next post) which I took as a detour along the way.
