    Tutea Falls

    February 14, 2024 in New Zealand ⋅ ☀️ 22 °C

Next up was the 'big one'. With a drop of 7m, Tutea Falls is the highest commercially rafted waterfall in the entire world!

Before facing the drop we were briefed on what to do in the 4 possible scenarios. The scenarios being:
    1. We make it fine.
    2. You fall out of the raft.
    3. The raft capsizes.
    4. The raft is submerged under the waterfall for a prolonged period.

Luckily for us, scenario 1 happened and the 3 rafts following all had the same fate. Since our group led the pack we got to encourage all of the other groups down after us.

We were all super proud of our bravery and making it out the other side alive.
