Exploring Palermo

This morning we had a lie in (in true BA style) and watched the FA Cup final from bed. Yes, our apartment TV's have all the sports channels!

We then tried to take some cash out but this proved to be impossible as the most we were able to withdraw anywhere was 30,000 pesos (£20) and they wanted to charge us 9,000 pesos (£6) for the convenience of doing so.

We needed cash to pay the balance for this evenings Boca Juniors game, so instead we went back to our apartment to pick up some handy USD.

The meeting point for the match was in central Palermo so we wandered around the quirky streets and stopped for a drink.Read more
