Estadio Centenario

Our first and most important stop of the day was to Estadio Centenario. This is Uruguay's national stadium and also hosted the first ever World Cup final back in 1930, the year it's construction was completed. Uruguay won this World Cup as the home nation!

Inside the stadium is a museum with exhibits from across South American football plus other random items such as charachertures of Paul McCarntey and Rod Stewart!Read more
