Christ the Redeemer

Last night we headed for our final night out in Rio, to the absolutely heaving streets of Pedro do Sal where you could barely move for the number of people. It was good fun and certainly an experience and resulted.in a lie in this morning.

Once we were up we collected our laundry, had some lunch and then headed to take the train up to see Christ the Redeemer!

We bought our tickets and then had to wait for a good while but eventually we were on the 15 minute train to the top.

We can confirm that this Jesus is very very big indeed, and people were flocking to see him as the viewing decks were so busy. But super impressive to at last see our 3rd wonder of the world!Read more
