Roosevelt Island Tramway

As we headed towards the late afternoon I boarded the Roosevelt Island Tramway. These red cable car type vehicles take 7 minutes to ascend, cross the West Channel and descend into Roosevelt Island.

Fun fact: It was once an Impractical Jokers punishment that Joe had to stand on the top of one of the cable cars dressed as Fat Man whilst it crossed the river. Whilst watching the show I didn't think it was a bad punishment but now I realise how scary it must have been!Läs mer
