NYCFC v Queretaro

This evenings activity was New York City FC v Queretaro. Previous representatives of NYCFC have been Frank Lampard, Andrea Pirlo, David Villa, however I'd heard of precisely zero of their current squad.

The game took place at the Yankee Stadium, home of course of the New York Yankees, and became the 100th ground I've seen a match at. Not a bad place to mark the centenary.

The game itself was part of a tournament between at 29 MLS teams and the 18 Mexican Premier Division teams, this being the first game of the group stage. The match itself was relatively uneventful but NYC missed some very good chances.
