Graceland Mansion

Due to a severe failure in the Memphis bus system I truly got to experience 'Walking in Memphis' at the very first opportunity.

Graceland allows free visitors to its grounds only between 7:30am to 8:30am, so I got up before 6 to catch 2 buses to get there for opening time. The first 3 buses (which were every half an hour) were all cancelled so I ended up walking 4.5 miles (in just over an hour) in order to get there fore about 8:10am.

Anyway, it is a pretty spectacular grounds, all kept in immaculate condition and it was worth the effort!Read more
